The conference diner will be held at the Kawaleria – Szarża Smaku (Cavalry – Charge of Taste) restaurant, which is located in the Cracow City Center in the Gołębia Street, 4.

Before the dinner, we will invite you to visit the historical buildings of the Jagiellonian University: Collegium Maius and Collegium Novum.

The Collegium Maius (Latin for “Great College”) located in Kraków Old Town, Poland, is the Jagiellonian University’s oldest building, dating back to the 14th century. It stands at the corner of ulica Jagiellońska (Jagiellon Street) and ulica Świętej Anny (St. Anne Street) near the Main Square of the historic city centre. Collegium Maius is the location of the Jagiellonian University Museum.

The Collegium Maius Museum features lecture rooms, communal halls, professor’s quarters, a library and a treasury containing rector’s Gothic maces and the Jagiellonian globe (It is the oldest extant globe to use the name America). Exhibits also include medieval scientific instruments, globes, paintings, collectibles, furniture, coins and medals.

The Collegium Novum (Latin: “New College”) is the Neo-Gothic main building of the Jagiellonian University, originally built between the year 1363 and 1365 and after its destruction, rebuilt between 1873-1887.

Trip to the “Wieliczka” Salt Mine

The Wieliczka Salt Mine is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a history of more than 700 years. The mine is a testament to human ingenuity and craftsmanship, boating labyrinthine passages, stunning chambers, and intricate salt sculptures.

The route includes approx. 800 stairs, 380 of which are at the start (going downhill). Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing according to the conditions on the route. The temperature underground falls within the range of 17–18ºC.
